Shady Nook is cozy though large enough to sleep 8. Shady Nook is minutes away from the Ouachita National Forest, and is nestles under tall pines and hardwoods and has a large front deck to enjoy the stars and a covered area to enjoy the outdoors even if it rains. Shady Nook is a beautiful vacation getaway and a wonderful place to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend area.
Whether enjoying the stars while soaking in the hot tub or roasting marshmallows by the outdoor firepit you can create memories in Kiamichi Mountain Country. Indoors a large flat screen TV & fireplace allows you to relax together in the family room.
There is plenty of seating space at the dining room table & counter bar for all to enjoy and watch the chef of the group in the full kitchen.
A very short hike to Lukfata Creek, about a 200 yards. Shady Nook Cabin is less than 2/10 mile from the National Forrest allow you to explore and enjoy nature or your ATV’s
